Design duo Jordan Bowen and Luca Marchetto of JORDANLUCA team up with Italian powerhouse Slam Jam to create an exclusive capsule collection named Burning Desire, inspired by popular quotes from recovery meetings which resonate with the duo.
The inspiration embraces references from the London Punk scene and tattoo designs, a collage of experiences, fusioning Italian heritage and London counter culture. The “Renaissance” style lookbook brings a collective rebirth, a renewal, coming from their many years in Recovery.
The collection consists of a recycled nylon tracksuit made from ocean plastic bringing the idea of re-birth to the centre of the collection, the tracksuit is a key carry over style for the brand, it is laser cut with the Slam Jam logo at the back and on the trouser pocket. To complement the tracksuit is a black t-shirt and sweater jersey produced in organic cotton. The graphic is a tattoo and rock n roll inspired burning rose, multi-coloured and screen-printed by hand.
